Daniel Titchener: Designing Fatherhood
“Parenting has changed my view on design too. Before I was a parent, it was very easy to keep a very tidy, aesthetic living area. But when you have a tiny human being, you allow space for your child; you make compromises and sacrifices.”
This week on 2 Dads 1 Car, we talk to Daniel Titchener: architect, interior designer, prolific YouTuber, and father to a young daughter.
In our conversation, Daniel discusses how his role as a young father interacts with his awareness of aesthetic harmony and living spaces, especially as his family creates space for their daughter to play and develop in childhood. On the topic of sacrifice and compromise, Daniel speaks on relationship dynamics, and the importance of normalizing grace, healthy communication, and becoming strong role models for our children.
Thank you very much to Daniel for speaking with us today! If you are interested in Daniel’s work, please check out his YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@DanielTitchener) or find him on Instagram @danieltitchener. I hope you love this episode!
